Juoni ja teemat
Elokuvan tarina sijoittuu toisen maailmansodan loppuvaiheisiin. Se kertoo sadistisesta naispuolisesta SS-upseerista, joka tekee kieroutuneita geneettisiä kokeita ja luo ihmisen ja pedon risteytyksen – seksuaalisesti häiriintyneen hirviön. Elokuva sisältää runsaasti äärimmäistä väkivaltaa ja aikuisviihde-elementtejä, ja se on herättänyt julkaisustaan lähtien runsaasti kohua.
